Canon Cameras

Towson University is seeking to procure 28 Canon EOS Rebel T7 Digital SLR Camera Body Only (Kit Box) through a state contract opportunity in Maryland. This procurement is specifically for camera equipment to support the university's photographic needs, with a clear specification for the exact camera model and quantity required. The contract opportunity was posted on May 30, 2025, with a submission deadline of June 3, 2025, indicating a tight turnaround for potential vendors. The solicitation appears to be a straightforward equipment purchase with no complex technical integration requirements. Vendors interested in responding to this opportunity will need to provide Canon EOS Rebel T7 cameras that meet the exact specifications outlined in the procurement document, demonstrating the ability to supply professional-grade photographic equipment to an educational institution.

While the contract opportunity does not explicitly mention set-aside designations or specific vendor restrictions, state and local procurement often prioritize local or small businesses, disadvantaged business enterprises, or minority-owned companies. The procurement is being conducted by Towson University, a Maryland public higher education institution, which typically follows state procurement guidelines that may include preference provisions. No incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure details are provided in the current documentation. The potential award value appears to be relatively modest, likely in the range of $10,000-$15,000 based on the quantity of cameras and their typical market pricing. Potential vendors should carefully review the full solicitation documents to understand any additional qualifications, submission requirements, or evaluation criteria that may not be immediately apparent in this summary overview.
