About this opportunity

Dallas County's Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Authority is seeking to procure an AXIS camera with 360-degree capabilities, specifically identified as model 3719-PLE. This procurement opportunity was initially published as a private solicitation but has been extended for public bidding, with Bonfire registration required to access detailed bid information. The procurement process mandates that vendors submit bids with FOB Destination shipping terms, including freight costs in the overall price, and adhere to strict delivery timelines. The solicitation's key submission deadline is November 10, 2025, with the opportunity initially posted on October 17, 2025. Vendors must carefully follow DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include specific requirements for invoice submission, payment terms (Net 30), and comprehensive documentation of item specifications such as sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Critical performance expectations include precise delivery schedules, with vendor failure to meet specified delivery times potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination.

The procurement opportunity does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. However, the purchase order terms and conditions document indicates DART's commitment to equal employment opportunities and includes unique certification requirements, such as verifying vendors are not contracted with foreign terrorist organizations and do not boycott Israel. While no specific budget range is detailed in the provided documentation, vendors must be prepared to comply with comprehensive commercial and operational standards. The solicitation requires vendors to provide merchantable quality goods and offer their most favorable commercial warranties. Potential bidders should note the rigorous compliance requirements, including tax exemption considerations, detailed invoice protocols, and strict adherence to DART's established procurement framework. Interested vendors must complete the Bonfire registration process to access full bid details and ensure comprehensive understanding of the technical specifications and contractual obligations associated with this camera procurement opportunity.
