About this opportunity

Camden County Schools is requesting proposals for milk products for its School Nutrition Program under RFP, with proposals due April 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Camden County Schools Administrative Building in Kingsland, Georgia, and written questions due March 9, 2023.

The scope includes lactose-free milk, chocolate and strawberry flavored milk, 1% fat unflavored milk, buttermilk, and skim unflavored milk in 8-ounce and gallon sizes. All products must comply with the Buy American Act. Proposers must maintain HACCP plans with recall procedures, carry workers' compensation and general liability insurance, verify federal work authorization through E-Verify, and provide evidence of financial capability upon request. Delivery is required to 13 specified school sites throughout Camden County and St. Mary's areas.

The contract period runs from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, with options for up to three months extension at the same pricing with mutual agreement and potential renewal for up to four additional one-year terms based on proposer performance. Prices must remain firm for the entire contract period unless otherwise noted; annual price adjustments are permitted only based on verified third-party market documentation such as USDA Agricultural Marketing Service reports or Consumer Price Index data. Payment is cost reimbursable, made within thirty days of invoice receipt for properly delivered goods.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible proposer meeting all specifications. The School Food Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals. All proposals must include completion of required certifications regarding debarment status, non-collusion, and lobbying (if over $100,000), along with references. The SFA has established a three-strikes performance management policy for contract violations related to product quality, delivery timeliness, and customer service.
