About this opportunity
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a master agreement for Temporary Relief Pest Control and Small Abatement Services through solicitation C5612975-D. The procurement is designed to secure a contractor capable of providing comprehensive pest management services across multiple CDCR locations, as detailed in Exhibit E. The contractor will be responsible for delivering all necessary labor, personnel, transportation, materials (including glue boards, traps, tracking powder, and bait stations), supplies, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, and associated expenses required for effective pest control operations. Key deliverables include on-site pest management, abatement services, and comprehensive treatment protocols for various institutional settings. The solicitation was posted on August 19, 2025, with proposals due by October 22, 2025. Contractors must thoroughly review the bid package, complete all required documentation, and submit competitive pricing through the rate sheet provided in Exhibit B-1.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documents, the contract appears to be open to qualified pest control service providers capable of meeting CDCR's stringent operational requirements. The master agreement suggests potential for significant service volume across multiple corrections facilities, indicating a potentially substantial contract value. Contractors will need to demonstrate professional licensing, proven expertise in institutional pest management, and the capability to serve diverse correctional environments. The compensation structure will be based on the rates specified in the attached rate sheet, which covers all anticipated service expenses. Interested vendors should carefully review the comprehensive bid package, particularly the rate sheet and list of participating locations, to understand the full scope of service expectations and potential contract opportunities within the California corrections system.
