About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has initiated a procurement opportunity for specific transit infrastructure components, specifically seeking bushing, track, and blower motor items identified by solicitation number 2097212. The procurement is located within Dallas County, Texas, and requires mandatory registration through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details. Vendors must submit comprehensive quotes reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with all freight costs incorporated into the overall pricing structure. The solicitation demands strict adherence to delivery schedules, with time and delivery rates considered essential contractual elements. Potential vendors must be prepared to meet DART's rigorous specifications, which include submitting detailed invoices to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order numbers, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement process has a defined timeline, with responses due by December 26, 2025, and requires vendors to navigate the in-browser BidTable window for specific project details and vendor response fields.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's technical and logistical requirements. The contract terms indicate potential default termination provisions if vendors fail to meet specified performance standards, suggesting a competitive and performance-driven selection process. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever occurs later. The procurement is governed by DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include compliance requirements related to equal opportunity provisions, certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations, and adherence to Texas state law with legal venue situated in Dallas County. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the technical specificity of the solicitation suggests a specialized procurement targeting precise transit infrastructure component replacements or upgrades.
