About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a bushing, lever, solenoid, and gong component (part number HS011-0044) under purchase order 2098210. This is a goods procurement opportunity posted on March 5, 2026, with a bid submission deadline of March 13, 2026. Vendors must register on the BONFIRE procurement system to access the complete project details and bidding table. The procurement requires sellers to deliver the specified component in accordance with DART's strict specifications and delivery schedules, with delivery performance being critical to contract execution. All bids must be submitted with FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or alternative freight arrangements. Vendors will be evaluated based on their ability to meet the technical specifications, delivery timelines, and pricing competitiveness. The seller is responsible for performing inspections and tests to verify conformance to specifications and manufacturer part numbers, and must warrant that all supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for the intended use.

The solicitation does not explicitly identify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidders to specific enterprise categories based on the information provided in the posting. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. Payment will be structured on a Net 30 basis, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing detailed purchase order information, item descriptions, quantities, and unit prices. All purchase orders are subject to DART's comprehensive Terms and Conditions, which include compliance requirements with equal opportunity provisions, Texas law, and certifications regarding non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and non-boycott of Israel. DART reserves the right to terminate orders for default if the seller fails to meet delivery schedules or other performance requirements. The specific budget or award value for this purchase order is not disclosed in the available documentation.
