About this opportunity
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) is soliciting proposals from contractors to relocate a natural gas line at the Disney's Animal Kingdom Park Bus Loop in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The relocation is necessary to comply with gas regulations due to other construction activities taking place at the same location. The selected contractor must have experience in the installation, replacement, or repair of natural gas distribution systems, and be familiar with all precautions required, as well as comply with local, state, and federal codes and standards. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on September 13, 2024, and all interested vendors must RSVP by September 12, 2024. The bid documents are available through the District's PlanetBids portal, and the bid submission deadline is September 18, 2024.
The CFTOD has bid preferences for local vendors, veteran small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses on most solicitations, and only accepts bids electronically through the PlanetBids platform. While an incumbent vendor or current contractor is not mentioned, the District has partnered with other governmental entities, and vendors are encouraged to register on their bid platform to receive invitations for upcoming projects. The anticipated award value or budget range for this project is not provided in the information given.
