About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a Brush Assembly Ground component identified as Part Number 2098135 through a competitive procurement process in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement requires suppliers to submit bids through the Bonfire registration system, with detailed project specifications and vendor response fields accessible via an in-browser BidTable upon registration. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and suppliers are instructed not to submit FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timing and rates are essential contract requirements, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules will serve as grounds for order rejection and default termination. The bid submission deadline is March 27, 2026, with the opportunity having been posted on February 26, 2026. Qualified vendors must comply with DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, including equal opportunity employment provisions, foreign terrorist organization non-affiliation certifications, and warranty that neither the vendor nor its affiliates boycott Israel.

DART maintains Net 30 payment terms calculated from the later of invoice receipt or purchase order receipt, with invoices required to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The Authority reserves the right to terminate orders for default due to performance failures or for convenience at its discretion. While the procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendors in the available materials, suppliers should note that DART is a tax-exempt entity and therefore state and local sales taxes are excluded from invoiced amounts. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement was not disclosed in the posted opportunity details, and vendors must register through the Bonfire system to access complete project specifications and pricing requirements necessary for bid preparation.
