About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking qualified vendors to provide repair and maintenance services for a McQuay Chiller system through a Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) procurement. The project involves the removal and replacement of an electronic control board on a McQuay International chiller located at 4209 Main Street, Dallas, Texas 75226, on the second floor. Contractors must provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and consumables to complete the work, including removal and proper disposal of the existing control board, furnishing and installation of a new OEM or OEM-compatible replacement, verification of wiring and connections, field testing and calibration, integration with building EMS systems if applicable, functional performance testing, and comprehensive project documentation. All work must be performed by OEM-certified or factory-trained technicians in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes and DART standards. Key deliverables include product data and technical cut sheets for the replacement control board, warranty documentation, an itemized invoice detailing labor and materials costs, and copies of commissioning and startup results with control parameters and setpoints. Contractors must provide a minimum one-year warranty covering parts and labor, with all defects identified during the warranty period to be corrected at no additional cost. The bid due date is February 14, 2026, with posting date of February 9, 2026, and all bids must be submitted through DART's Bonfire registration system. Work must be completed during normal business hours with minimum 24-hour advance notice to the DART Facilities Supervisor, and time and rate of delivery are essential terms of the order.

The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular types of organizations, such as disadvantaged enterprises or small businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The procurement requires integration with existing building EMS systems, indicating vendors must possess technical capability to interface with DART's current building management infrastructure. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org within 30 days of invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. Specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed in the available procurement documentation; vendors must access the Bonfire bidding table to view complete project details, specifications, and pricing requirements.
