About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a purchase order for a Police Main Distribution Frame (MDF) Electrical Project in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement involves electrical infrastructure installation and configuration to support communications and data systems at DART's police operations facility. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit proposals by November 26, 2025. The project requires precise electrical work with strict delivery terms, where failure to meet specified timelines could result in order rejection or default termination. Bidders must submit comprehensive proposals that include unit prices, quantities, and detailed technical specifications for electrical infrastructure components. All submissions must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall pricing, and vendors must be prepared to deliver according to DART's exacting schedules.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the documents, vendors must meet several compliance requirements, including certification that they are not on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and verification that they do not boycott Israel. Potential contractors must comply with equal opportunity employment practices and Texas law, with any legal venue situated in Dallas County. Invoicing will follow Net 30 payment terms, with detailed invoices submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. Although a specific budget range is not provided, vendors should be prepared to provide comprehensive electrical infrastructure services with precise technical capabilities. The contract appears focused on specialized electrical work for a police facility communications infrastructure, suggesting a preference for contractors with demonstrated expertise in complex electrical system installations for public safety facilities.
