About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is seeking a two-year blanket purchase order for Heavy Duty Concentrated Multipurpose Soap to be used in its bus and light rail vehicle maintenance facilities across six delivery locations in the Dallas, Texas area. The procurement requires a single concentrated liquid soap product that is fully biodegradable, with no flash point, and capable of effectively degreasing and cleaning vehicle surfaces and parking lots. Vendors must provide the soap in 55-gallon drums or bulk quantities, with a required delivery window of three business days after order placement. The product must meet government and industrial safety standards, and vendors are required to submit a completed Safety Data Sheet and certification confirming the cleaner's formulation and lack of hazardous constituents. The solicitation, numbered #2095589, has a bid submission deadline of November 18, 2025, with Bonfire registration required to access detailed bid information. Vendors must include all associated costs in their unit pricing, including transportation, labor, equipment, and other related expenses.
This procurement does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must comply with DART's standard terms and conditions, which include provisions for equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination. The payment terms are net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. DART reserves the right to disqualify products that do not meet expectations after a one-month trial period. While specific budget ranges are not detailed, the solicitation suggests that pricing will be a key evaluation criterion. The contract includes provisions for termination for default if vendors fail to meet delivery schedules or contractual obligations. Invoices must include specific details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The contract will be subject to DART's standard purchase order terms, which include comprehensive legal protections and performance expectations for the selected vendor.
