About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for Bombardier Transportation, specifically seeking a wire product with part number 6959C51H09, dimensioned 19 X 30, 5FT/LSB, referenced as purchase order 2094716. The contract is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to register through Bonfire to access full bid details. Potential suppliers must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept alternative shipping arrangements. Delivery performance is critically important, with time and delivery rates considered essential to the contract; failure to meet specified delivery schedules may result in rejection and default termination. All submitted invoices must be sent to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, containing specific documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement follows Net 30 payment terms, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever occurs later.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must certify non-affiliation with foreign terrorist organizations and demonstrate non-participation in boycotts of Israel. The contract is governed by Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County. While specific award values are not detailed, the procurement involves specialized transportation infrastructure components. Suppliers must warrant that all provided supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and compliant with product descriptions and specifications. The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority reserves contractual termination rights for both default and convenience, with termination for convenience limiting liability to payment for accepted deliveries prior to contract cessation. Potential bidders should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF for comprehensive understanding of contractual obligations and requirements.
