About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of BOLT, UNLOCKING DEVICE, RH & LH (reference number 2094191), with proposals due by July 30, 2025. This contract opportunity requires vendors to provide specific unlocking devices, likely for transit infrastructure or vehicle components. Potential bidders must first complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and project specifications. All submissions must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors are required to adhere to strict delivery terms, with time and delivery rate being critical elements of the contract. DART emphasizes that failure to deliver according to specified timelines could result in rejection and potential default termination. Bidders must be prepared to submit detailed invoices containing specific information including purchase order number, item number, description of supplies, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement appears open to all qualified vendors, with no specific set-aside designations mentioned in the available documentation. DART requires vendors to comply with equal opportunity employment practices and certify they are not on lists of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order. The purchasing authority reserves the right to terminate contracts for vendor non-performance. While specific award value is not disclosed, the contract seems focused on providing specific mechanical components for transit operations. Vendors must demonstrate capability to meet strict quality standards, provide commercially warranted products suitable for their intended use, and comply with all product specifications. Additional requirements include tax considerations, with DART being exempt from Texas state and local sales taxes, and vendors must certify they are not boycotting Israel during the agreement's term.
