About this opportunity
The state and local contract opportunity is a procurement issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, focusing on the acquisition of BOLT, UNLOCKING DEVICE, RH & LH with solicitation number 2096637. The procurement requires potential vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bidding information and complete the submission process. Vendors must adhere to specific freight and delivery terms, with a mandatory FOB Destination shipping requirement that includes freight costs in the overall pricing. The solicitation was posted on December 11, 2025, with responses due by December 18, 2025. DART expects vendors to submit comprehensive bids that include detailed specifications for the unlocking devices, with a clear emphasis on timely delivery and precise product specifications. Evaluation criteria appear to focus on compliance with purchase order terms, shipping conditions, and the ability to meet stringent delivery schedules, with potential for rejection or default termination if performance standards are not met.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement does include several vendor compliance requirements. Vendors must demonstrate certification that they do not boycott Israel and are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization contract list. The contract mandates equal opportunity employment compliance and requires vendors to operate under Texas law with potential legal venue in Dallas County. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, including comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Though specific award values are not mentioned, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing that includes all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. The procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's technical specifications, delivery requirements, and comprehensive contractual terms.
