About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of Grade 8 bolts measuring 5/8"-11 x 1 1/4" under Purchase Order opportunity 2098691. This is a supply procurement posted on April 13, 2026, with a bid due date of May 15, 2026. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price; DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery terms are critical to this procurement, as time and rate of deliveries are essential to the contract, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All suppliers must warrant that supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and comply with all referenced specifications. Bidders must access the complete bid details and respond through the BONFIRE registration system by navigating to the "Prepare Your Submission" process and locating the in-browser BidTable.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting eligible respondents to disadvantaged enterprises or other designated business categories. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The supporting documentation includes comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions that require sellers to comply with equal opportunity employment provisions, certify that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel, and confirm they do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with Foreign Terrorist Organization contracts. Inspection and acceptance of the bolts will occur at destination unless otherwise specified, with the seller bearing risk of loss unless losses result from DART negligence. The procurement documentation does not disclose a specific budgeted amount or award value for this purchase order opportunity.
