About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the purchase of bolts specified as 3/8"-16 X 2", Grade 8, Yellow Zinc (item number 2097543). This procurement opportunity was posted on January 16, 2026, with a due date of January 16, 2026, requiring immediate submission of bids through the BONFIRE registration system. Vendors must access the BidTable portal to view complete project details and submit their responses. The primary objective is to procure the specified fasteners meeting Grade 8 specifications with yellow zinc coating to support DART's operational and maintenance requirements. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and timely delivery is considered essential to the contract, with delivery failures potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination. Vendors are evaluated based on their ability to meet delivery schedules, provide compliant products, and fulfill all purchase order terms and conditions established by DART.

The solicitation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular enterprise categories based on the available documentation. No incumbent vendors or existing contractor information has been provided in the posting materials. All responding vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include requirements for commercial warranties, certification that the seller is not listed as contracting with Foreign Terrorist Organizations by the Texas Comptroller, and verification that neither the vendor nor its affiliates boycott Israel. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, and payment due 30 days from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. The specific contract award value or budget range has not been disclosed in the available documentation, though pricing should be submitted through the BidTable interface as part of the bid submission process.
