About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of bolts, specifically model BOLT, 3/4-10X2.25, through this competitive purchase order opportunity in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement notice was posted on January 21, 2026, with a response deadline of January 28, 2026. Bidders must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details, specifications, and the BidTable for vendor response submission. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is essential to contract performance, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment structured on a Net 30 basis calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date. Sellers must provide commercial warranties ensuring supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use, and all quoted prices must incorporate applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, though DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular organization types or disadvantaged enterprises based on the information provided. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, nor are there references to existing infrastructure or technology requiring integration for this fastener procurement. The specific award value or budget range for this purchase order is not disclosed in the posted opportunity or supporting documentation. Prospective vendors must certify compliance with foreign terrorist organization restrictions and Israel boycott prohibitions, and all sellers are subject to DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, which include equal opportunity employment provisions, conflict-of-interest prohibitions, and responsibility for performing all required inspections and tests to verify conformance with technical specifications. Contract governance is established under Texas law with venue in Dallas County.
