About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a Body with Coil rated at 125/250V (Item No. 2098204) through a competitive procurement process posted on March 5, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 13, 2026. Vendors must register with DART's Bonfire system to access complete project specifications and the in-browser BidTable, where detailed deliverables and vendor response fields are located. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timing is critical to contract performance, and vendors must meet specified delivery schedules to avoid order rejection and potential default termination by the Authority. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The evaluation process and specific technical qualifications required from vendors are outlined in the complete procurement documents available through the Bonfire registration system. Payment will be rendered on a Net 30 basis, calculated from the later of either invoice receipt or order receipt date, unless alternative terms have been documented in writing.

The procurement opportunity documentation does not explicitly identify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information within the available excerpts. No specific budget range or award value has been disclosed in the posted materials. Interested vendors should consult the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section and access the full Bonfire registration details to determine organizational eligibility, any applicable socioeconomic preferences, and the complete scope of work including any technical specifications that may require particular vendor qualifications or existing infrastructure integration capabilities.
