About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure board audio speaker wire through this purchase order opportunity posted on January 23, 2026, with a deadline for submissions on January 30, 2026. This is a goods procurement for the specific item identified as Board Audio Speaker Wire (Opportunity #2097639) in Dallas County, Texas. While the detailed specifications, quantities, and technical requirements are contained within the in-browser BidTable accessible through the BONFIRE registration system's "Prepare Your Submission" process, vendors must ensure their bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs fully included in the overall price. All deliverables must meet DART's stringent delivery standards, as timely delivery is material to contract performance and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Interested vendors must register with the BONFIRE system to access the complete bid table, project details, and vendor response fields necessary to submit a responsive proposal.

The procurement is subject to standard DART purchase order terms and conditions, which include Net 30 payment terms, invoicing requirements submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, and compliance certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott regulations. The document does not specify any designated set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, women-owned businesses, or other restricted vendor categories, nor does it identify incumbent vendors or current contractors for this particular line item. Vendors must acknowledge that pricing includes all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, with DART exempt from Texas sales and use taxes, and that the Authority retains the right to terminate for default or convenience. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available documentation, and vendors should anticipate that the Contracting Officer maintains authority to make modifications with equitable adjustment provisions if necessary, with all disputes resolved through escalation procedures governed by Texas law and Dallas County venue.
