About this opportunity
The state of Idaho, specifically Ada County, is seeking procurement for fertilizer delivery to the Idaho State Veterans Cemeteries located in Boise and Blackfoot. This contract opportunity, identified by the unique ID 67d037a2e5e811976f089548, was posted on March 10, 2025, with proposals due by March 13, 2025. The primary objective of this procurement is to acquire fertilizer necessary for maintaining the grounds of two state veterans cemeteries. While specific technical requirements and detailed specifications are not explicitly outlined in the provided information, the procurement appears focused on securing a reliable fertilizer supply to support cemetery landscaping and maintenance. Potential vendors should be prepared to demonstrate their capability to deliver high-quality fertilizer products that meet the specific needs of veterans cemetery grounds. The short window between posting and proposal due date suggests an expedited procurement process, requiring vendors to respond quickly and efficiently.
Given the limited details provided, it is challenging to definitively state specific set-aside designations or organizational restrictions for this procurement. The contract does not explicitly indicate preferences for disadvantaged business enterprises or specific vendor qualifications beyond the ability to supply cemetery-grade fertilizer. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are mentioned in the available information. Similarly, no specific budget range or award value is specified in the documentation. Potential bidders should carefully review any supplemental procurement documents to understand the full scope of requirements, potential integration needs, and specific vendor qualifications. Interested vendors are advised to contact the Ada County procurement office directly for additional clarification on the fertilizer delivery contract for the Idaho State Veterans Cemeteries.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game has requested a brand name exemption for the purchase of Honda CRF300L. If approved, a brand name exemption allows an agency to specify one brand name only in a procurement and to eliminate bids for any alternate or substitute property. Brand name exemptions are at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this brand name exemption. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that the named brand is the only brand that can meet the agency's business needs. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
