About this opportunity
The state of Idaho is seeking bids for a procurement opportunity involving Reinforcement Bar under the contract designation BNO - Composite Senior Living Furniture. The solicitation, posted on April 7, 2025, has a submission deadline of April 10, 2025, indicating a short response window for potential vendors. While specific details about the reinforcement bar are limited in the provided documentation, the contract appears to be related to senior living facility infrastructure or construction requirements. The procurement seems focused on acquiring specific material or components necessary for senior living facility development or renovation projects. Potential bidders should carefully review the full request for proposal (RFP) documentation to understand precise technical specifications, required quantities, delivery expectations, and compliance standards.
Given the limited information provided, it is not possible to definitively state set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or precise award values for this contract opportunity. Potential respondents should anticipate potential qualification requirements related to construction materials, senior living facility infrastructure procurement, or specialized reinforcement bar manufacturing. Vendors interested in this opportunity should confirm their eligibility, prepare comprehensive technical and pricing responses, and ensure full compliance with Idaho state procurement regulations. Additional research into the specific requirements of the BNO - Composite Senior Living Furniture contract would be necessary to develop a fully competitive proposal. Interested firms should immediately contact the issuing state procurement office to obtain complete bid package details and clarify any questions before the April 10, 2025 submission deadline.
Opportunity text
The Idaho Division of Veterans Services has requested a brand name exemption for the purchase of Composite Senior Living Furniture by Kwalu. If approved, a brand name exemption allows an agency to specify one brand name only in a procurement and to eliminate bids for any alternate or substitute property. Brand name exemptions are at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this brand name exemption. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that the named brand is the only brand that can meet the agency's business needs. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
