About this opportunity

The state of Idaho's Office of Information Technology Services (ITS), operating through the Division of Purchasing (DOP), is soliciting quotes for an annual subscription to Phone Provisioning Management Software (PPMS). The procurement involves the acquisition of 30 DMC 3000 personal electronic dosimeters, with a posted date of December 12, 2025, and a firm submission deadline of December 17, 2025. While the specific technical requirements are not fully detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to focus on obtaining electronic dosimetry equipment for potential radiation monitoring or safety applications. The contract opportunity is open to qualified vendors who can meet the state's specifications for these specialized electronic devices. Potential respondents should carefully review the full solicitation documents to understand the complete scope of requirements, which may include technical specifications, performance standards, warranty conditions, and delivery expectations.

No explicit set-aside designations or specific restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were indicated in the provided contract opportunity description. The documentation does not specify incumbent vendors, existing technology infrastructure, or integration requirements for the proposed dosimeter procurement. Similarly, no definitive award value or precise budget range was outlined in the available information. Vendors interested in responding to this state contract opportunity should obtain the complete solicitation package from the Idaho Division of Purchasing to fully understand the evaluation criteria, submission protocols, and any potential qualifications or technical requirements for the personal electronic dosimeters. Potential bidders are advised to carefully review all documentation and prepare comprehensive responses that demonstrate their capability to meet the state's procurement needs.

Opportunity text

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has requested a brand name exemption for the purchase of DMC 3000 personal electronic dosimeters. If approved, a brand name exemption allows an agency to specify one brand name only in a procurement and to eliminate bids for any alternate or substitute property. Brand name exemptions are at the discretion of the DOP Administrator. In the interest of transparency, DOP is offering suppliers the opportunity to review this requested exemption and provide relevant information. The decision remains discretionary, and suppliers have no right to appeal the Administrator's decision. Suppliers are invited to provide information that may help the DOP Administrator make a decision regarding this brand name exemption. Please review the Agency's request, attached in the Buyer Attachment section of IPRO. You are invited to provide information that may help support or contradict the claim that the named brand is the only brand that can meet the agency's business needs. Submit your information by attaching it in the Supplier Attachments section of IPRO and submitting your response or emailing purchasing@adm.idaho.gov. To be considered by the Administrator, all information must be submitted prior to the closing date and time listed in IPRO.
