About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, is seeking to procure unscented bleach in 121 oz. bottles through a competitive bidding process. The solicitation, referenced as bid number 2096442, requires potential vendors to register on the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and submission requirements. Bidders must submit their proposals by December 3, 2025, with a focus on meeting specific delivery and performance standards. The procurement emphasizes FOB Destination shipping terms, requiring vendors to include freight costs in their overall pricing. Vendors must adhere to strict delivery timelines, as DART considers the rate and timeliness of deliveries essential to the contract, with potential for rejection and default termination for failure to meet specified performance criteria.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor participation are explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. The procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's stringent requirements, including Net 30 payment terms and detailed invoicing specifications. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include comprehensive information such as purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. While the exact budget range is not specified, the contract is for a relatively standard commodity (unscented bleach in 121 oz. bottles). The procurement process is governed by DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which provide a comprehensive framework for vendor performance, payment, and potential contract termination.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
