About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring a 32-inch wiper blade assembly with a 2-pivot radial configuration, rated for 38NM at 12V, identified as line item 2098036. This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on February 13, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 24, 2026. Interested vendors must register in the BONFIRE procurement system to access the detailed bid table and submit their responses. The procurement requires all bids to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and delivery schedules are considered essential to contract performance, with failure to meet specified timelines constituting grounds for default termination. DART operates on Net 30 payment terms, requiring vendors to submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. While the specific evaluation criteria and bid quantities are not detailed in the posted summary, vendors must comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include compliance with equal opportunity employment practices and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts.
The opportunity documentation does not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for minority-owned, women-owned, or small businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, nor is any existing technology requiring integration mentioned. The procurement documents do not disclose an award value or budget range for this wiper blade assembly purchase, and vendors should anticipate payment only for supplies delivered and accepted by the Authority within the contractual timeframe. DART reserves the right to terminate orders for convenience at any time and limits its liability to the value of goods and services completed prior to termination. All procurement activities are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and interested vendors should thoroughly review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section before submitting bids.
