About this opportunity

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) is soliciting sealed bids for the establishment of a three-year contract to procure and implement a Cohesity Data Management and Security Platform (Bid 26-31). The procurement encompasses a comprehensive hybrid deployment model combining on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including 80 units of Cohesity HYB-DATACLOUD-CORE licenses, professional services for implementation and recovery vault setup (PS-JUMPSTART-SM and PS-FORTKNOX), networking connectivity infrastructure (CBL-10G/25G/40G/100G-LC-005-INFO), and SaaS capabilities for Microsoft 365 backup (SAAS-M365-CORE-50G-AZURE) at 50GB capacity with 2,200 units of SAAS-M365-CORE-50G-AZURE licenses. The solution must include role-based access control (RBAC) capabilities and premium support, with implementation expected to be completed by June 2026. Key objectives include establishing a secure data management platform without requiring legacy data migration, analytics and reporting tools beyond standard offerings, or separate implementation and training costs. Bidders must submit written questions, requests for interpretations, or material substitution requests by February 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (ET), with bid packages due electronically through the SCCPSS Bonfire Hub portal (https://sccpss.bonfirehub.com) no later than March 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (ET). The District anticipates issuing a Notice of Intent to Award on or about March 10, 2026, followed by final contract execution upon approval by the District's decision maker.

Bidders must demonstrate responsibility by maintaining current business licenses, appropriate insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate), Commercial Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit), Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, and Umbrella Insurance ($1,000,000 per claim), with compliance with Georgia's E-Verify requirements and majority U.S. ownership (51% or more). Contracts exceeding $100,000 require federal compliance documentation including Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment certification and contract work hours and safety standards compliance; additional federal requirements may apply if the purchase is funded with federal grant dollars, including debarment and suspension verification, clean air and water compliance, and domestic preference provisions. No bid bonds or performance bonds are required, and the District reserves the right to cancel the ITB, reject any or all bids, and waive irregularities. Support and maintenance costs are calculated at 18-22% of license value and should be included in vendor proposals, with public sector discounted pricing applied where available. While specific budget amounts are not disclosed in the solicitation documents, the contract term is established at three years with potential extension provisions, and pricing terms are to be submitted by bidders based on detailed line-item quantities provided in Addendum 1, with compensation and pricing structures to be detailed in Attachment B of the final contract.
