About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a bearing radius rod assembly (item number 2098367) to be procured through the State of Texas contracting process for Dallas County. The specific deliverable is a bearing radius rod assembly, though detailed specifications and technical requirements are accessible only through DART's BONFIRE registration system and the in-browser BidTable upon initiation of the submission preparation process. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timelines and rates are essential to contract performance, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. The deadline for submission is May 15, 2026, with the opportunity posted on March 18, 2026. Payment terms are Net 30 from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The available documentation does not specify particular set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendors, or specific award values or budget ranges for this procurement. However, all sellers are required to comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which mandate equal opportunity employment compliance, certification that neither the seller nor its affiliates boycott Israel, verification of non-listing on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization contractor list, and prohibition on contract assignment without written contracting officer consent. Sellers must provide commercial warranties confirming merchantable quality, fitness for intended use, and compliance with product specifications, with all pricing required to include applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties while reflecting DART's Texas tax-exempt status. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and disputes must be appealed in writing within 30 days of contracting officer decisions while continuing performance pending resolution.
