The University of Maryland, Baltimore County Department of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing is requesting proposals for a turnkey dishwasher installation at the campus dining facility under RFP BC-21505-B, with technical proposals due April 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM and a mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit on March 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM at True Grit's Dining Hall. An MBE subcontracting goal of 10 percent applies.

The scope encompasses removal and disposal of an existing Champion EUCCW8 commercial dishwasher, delivery and installation of a new Champion EUCCW8 unit with specified options and accessories, removal and disposal of an existing booster heater in the basement with piping and duct capping, and all associated electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work. Comprehensive warranty coverage for two years from final acceptance is required, including 48-hour on-site service response and 24-hour emergency response for kitchen downtime issues.

Work is scheduled between May 21 and June 10, 2026, with removal on May 21–22, floor repair May 26–June 5, and installation June 8–10. Substantial Completion is June 10, 2026. The contract is firm fixed-price for one unit of each deliverable. Commercial General Liability insurance of $2 million per occurrence and Workers' Compensation as required by Maryland law are mandatory.

Questions must be submitted by March 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Price proposals will be requested only from shortlisted offerors following technical evaluation. Technical merit is weighted greater than cost in the award determination. The procurement follows University System of Maryland Board of Regents Procurement Policies and Procedures.
