About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is conducting an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to establish a contract for Bagged Concrete Products across its seven districts. This procurement is being executed under the State Purchasing Act and aims to secure qualified suppliers who can provide concrete products for transportation project sites and storage yards statewide. The solicitation requires suppliers to deliver commodities that conform to GDOT Specifications and meet the current Qualified Products List (QPL #3) standards. The department intends to select multiple suppliers, with each assigned to service one of the seven districts. The eRFQ was posted on October 22, 2025, with proposals due by November 14, 2025, giving potential vendors approximately three weeks to prepare and submit their quotes. Suppliers will need to demonstrate their capability to consistently deliver high-quality bagged concrete products that meet the technical specifications and can be distributed across various GDOT project locations throughout Georgia.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided document, the solicitation suggests an open competitive process with the potential for multiple vendors to be selected. The procurement appears designed to create a diverse supplier pool capable of meeting GDOT's concrete product needs across different geographic districts. The contract will likely be structured to allow flexible ordering and delivery based on project requirements. Although specific award values are not mentioned, the statewide scope and multi-district approach indicate a potentially substantial procurement opportunity. Interested suppliers will need to carefully review the full eRFQ documentation, including the referenced GDOT Specifications and Qualified Products List, to ensure their products meet the necessary technical and performance standards for consideration in this contracting opportunity.
