About this opportunity

Baconton Community Charter School is requesting sealed bids for kitchen smallware and small equipment with bids due July 20, 2026, and written questions due July 15, 2026. The contract commences August 1, 2026, for school year 2026–2027.

The scope includes smallware such as thermometers (freezer, hot holding, digital), scoops, spoodles, measuring cups, sheet pans, serving pans, knives, mop heads and handles, aprons, pastry brushes, pan grabbers, and stainless steel sponges; small equipment including a Hamilton Beach 48-ounce food blender, an electric can opener with replacement blades, sheet pan racks with casters, and plastic rolling utility carts. Quantities range from single units to 96 units per item. All items must be equal to or approved equivalents to the brands specified in the itemized list.

Bids must be submitted to 260 E Walton Street, Baconton, Georgia 31716, where the bid opening will occur. Bid prices must remain firm for the contract period and include all packing and transportation charges to the school's nutrition program facility. Prices exclude Federal Excise Tax and State Sales Tax; separate fuel charges will not be added to invoices. Payment occurs within thirty days of receipt and acceptance of delivered goods.

The School Food Authority reserves the right to award to one or multiple vendors and will make the award within approximately sixty days of bid opening based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The contract runs through the end of school year 2026–2027 with a three-month extension option at the same bid pricing with mutual written agreement, plus renewal options of up to four additional one-year terms based on vendor performance.

Federal compliance applies: bids exceeding $25,000 require debarment and suspension verification; bids exceeding $100,000 require lobbying certification. E-Verify authorization and anti-collusion affidavits are required. Vendors with poor performance within the last three years may be disqualified as non-responsible.
