Automated School Zone Speed Detection Camera System(Rebid)

Broward County is seeking a rebid for an Automated School Zone Speed Detection Camera System through the City of Fort Lauderdale's procurement process. The solicitation, identified as Event 483, aims to procure a comprehensive camera system designed to enhance school zone safety by detecting and documenting speed violations. Potential vendors must register in the city's INFOR Supplier Portal, which serves as the mandatory electronic gateway for all bidding communications and submissions. The procurement opportunity is currently open, with a posting date of July 1, 2025, and a proposal due date of August 1, 2025. Vendors interested in participating must complete supplier registration through the specified web portal to receive electronic notifications and ensure eligibility for the bidding process.

The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or minority enterprise requirements based on the available documentation. While the attached cover page emphasizes the new supplier registration process, it does not provide detailed information about vendor qualifications, award values, or budget ranges for the automated school zone speed detection camera system. The procurement appears to be a technology-focused initiative that will likely require vendors to demonstrate capabilities in automated speed detection, camera infrastructure, and potential integration with existing municipal traffic management systems. Interested suppliers will need to navigate the INFOR Supplier Portal to access full solicitation details, submission requirements, and potential technical specifications for the school zone speed detection project.
