The Maryland Department of Health, Maryland Board of Physicians is requesting bids on an audio-visual equipment upgrade — removal of 26 wired gooseneck microphones and installation of a fully wireless delegate microphone system with live streaming and recording capabilities in its conference room at 4201 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore — under IFB OCMP #27-25739, with bids due September 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM. No MBE or VSBE subcontracting goals apply.

Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in commercial audio-visual system design and installation, supported by documented references from at least two similar projects completed within the past five years. The scope includes removal of existing equipment, installation of wireless access points, control units, charging stations, and audio interface equipment, and completion of on-site training. Completion is required within 10 to 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.

This is a firm fixed-price, single-award, one-time project with no renewal options. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty covering all equipment, materials, and installation workmanship. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability of $1 million combined single limit per occurrence and $3 million annual aggregate; Workers' Compensation of $1 million per occurrence; Errors and Omissions/Professional Liability of $1 million per claim and $3 million annual aggregate; and appropriate Automobile or Commercial Truck Insurance. The contract contains no federal funding. Questions are due September 18, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Bid opening is scheduled for September 29, 2026 at 11:15 AM via virtual OCMP meeting. Final payment is contingent on successful completion, testing, and written acceptance by the State.
