About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure ARM, SECTION, MID/TIP, FIBERGLASS, 16', 1000 C.P. REFLECTIVITY under solicitation number 2097539. This procurement opportunity was posted on January 15, 2026, with proposal submissions due by January 22, 2026. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information and must submit their responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement specifically requires vendors to provide fiberglass components with specific reflectivity specifications, with strict delivery terms that emphasize time and delivery rate as critical performance factors. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall pricing. Vendors must adhere to DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include comprehensive requirements for invoice submission, product quality, and performance standards. Submission of invoices must be made to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, with careful attention to including specific documentation such as purchase order number, item number, description of supplies, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the available documentation, vendors must meet several compliance requirements. These include certification that they are not on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list and verification that neither the vendor nor its affiliates boycott Israel. The procurement is governed by Texas state law, with any disputes to be resolved in Dallas County. Payment terms are strictly Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of either the invoice or the order, whichever is later. Vendors must provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and compliance with product specifications, and they are subject to termination for default if they fail to meet delivery schedules or performance requirements. While no specific budget range is provided in the documentation, vendors should be prepared to offer competitive pricing that includes all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, with DART being exempt from Texas sales and use taxes.
