About this opportunity
El Paso County Hospital District d/b/a University Medical Center is soliciting sealed statements of qualification from architectural and engineering firms to assess an existing Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) on the second floor of a medical office building in El Paso, Texas, with proposals due October 28, 2026.
The scope centers on Phase I evaluation of the ASC's physical conditions, infrastructure, and compliance with applicable licensing, accreditation, building code, and life-safety requirements. If authorized, Phase II will address only University Medical Center–approved improvements and may encompass design, regulatory approval, and construction administration services. Phase II services shall be performed only upon separate written authorization by University Medical Center. Specific property location and available building documentation will be disclosed to the selected firm following award.
University Medical Center reserves sole discretion in firm selection based on University Medical Center's opinion about which firm best meets the Hospital District's needs and requirements. No contract value, timeline for Phase II authorization, or performance term is specified in the solicitation notice. Questions due and pre-bid meeting dates are not identified.
