Bidders must submit separate unit prices for each item through electronic bidding; late submissions will not be considered. The state reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities or technicalities, and increase or decrease quantities by up to 10% unless otherwise stated. "Or approved equal" is implied for items defined by trade name or catalog number; alternative products must be accompanied by complete identification and descriptive literature.
All delivery must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, with transportation charges prepaid by the contractor unless otherwise specified. Pricing must exclude Maine state sales and use taxes and federal taxes on non-resale items. Cash discounts of 20 days or longer will be considered in determining final bid price; discounts under 20 days will not be considered. Manufacturers, importers, suppliers, or distributors of hazardous chemicals must provide current material safety data sheets to their direct purchasers.
