About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of air spring diaphragms through a competitive bidding process for Item 2097071. The solicitation, posted on December 11, 2025, with responses due by December 18, 2025, requires mandatory registration through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bidding information. Vendors must submit comprehensive bids using the in-browser BidTable, with a specific focus on providing air spring diaphragm components meeting DART's technical specifications. All bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall pricing, and DART will not accept alternative shipping arrangements. The procurement emphasizes strict delivery performance, with time and delivery rate considered essential contract elements; failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in bid rejection or default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, providing detailed documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or explicit restrictions on organizational respondents. However, vendors must comply with several key requirements, including demonstrating commercial warranties certifying product quality, suitability for intended use, and compliance with specifications. Vendors must also affirm equal opportunity employment practices and provide certification that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's Foreign Terrorist Organization contract list. Additionally, respondents must verify that neither their organization nor affiliated entities are engaged in boycotting Israel. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the procurement suggests a standard purchase order framework with Net 30 payment terms. Potential bidders should be prepared to provide high-quality air spring diaphragm components with reliable delivery capabilities and comprehensive documentation to meet DART's stringent procurement standards.
