About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), specifically the Bureau of Design and Construction and Office of Resilience & Coastal Protection, is seeking bids for the BDC07-25/26 Quayside Dock Shoreline Stabilization project located in the Southeast Region of Leon County. This procurement is for shoreline stabilization work, with the current addendum (Addendum No. 3) modifying and supplementing the original bid specifications and drawings by incorporating additional revised plans into the bid package. The bid documents must be submitted to Alisha Sadler, Contracts Specialist, at 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000 by November 18, 2025. Bidders are required to sign and include the addendum with their submission, with failure to do so potentially resulting in bid rejection. All questions regarding the bid should be directed to the Bureau of Design and Construction's Contracts Section at bdc_contracts@dep.state.fl.us. The revised bid package, including the additional plans, can be accessed at the DEP public files website.
While specific details about set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly outlined in the provided documentation, potential bidders should carefully review the complete bid package for any such provisions. The current addendum does not specify award values, budget ranges, or incumbent vendors for this shoreline stabilization project. Interested contractors should thoroughly examine the detailed bid documents, which are available on the referenced public files website, to understand the full scope of work, technical specifications, and any potential constraints or qualifications required for participation. The procurement appears to be a standard competitive bidding process for a specific infrastructure improvement project focused on shoreline stabilization at the Quayside Dock in the Southeast Region of Florida. Contractors interested in this opportunity should ensure they meet all technical and administrative requirements specified in the complete bid package.
