About this opportunity

This state and local contracting opportunity is for a beach renourishment project at Bahia Honda State Park in Leon County, Florida. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has issued Addendum #1 to Bid No. BDC21-24/25 for this project, which requires contractors to acknowledge receipt of the addendum and include it with their bid submission. The addendum clarifies that longshoremen's insurance is not required for this project, as long as the contractor is not working in the water. All other aspects of the contract documents, including the specifications and drawings, remain in full force and effect. Bids are due on October 28, 2024, and failure to include the signed acknowledgment of the addendum may be grounds for bid rejection.

The procurement does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The contract documents do not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor do they provide information on possible award values or budget ranges. The project appears to be limited to the beach renourishment work at Bahia Honda State Park, and does not require integration with any existing infrastructure or technology.
