About this opportunity
The St. Johns River Water Management District (the District) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contract laboratories to provide adaptive sampling and analysis services for organic substances and metals in water, sediment, and biota samples from the Indian River Lagoon. The District is requesting information on the bidders' procedures for analyzing these environmental matrices, with an initial focus on sediment samples. The successful bidder will be required to complete the requested analyses and work by June 30, 2023. The estimated budget for the initial sampling is $79,000, and the District reserves the right to increase, decrease, or delete any part of the work, as well as to reject all bids if the negotiated costs exceed the estimated budget.
The IFB does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The District has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors for this work, and the IFB does not mention any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The IFB provides the FIPS code for Polk County, Florida, which indicates the jurisdiction where the work will be performed.
