About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), a government entity operating under Dallas County jurisdiction in Texas, is soliciting bids for the procurement of a Power Adapter, 24 Volt (item number 2098736). This is a straightforward purchase order procurement for equipment/supplies with a posted date of April 13, 2026, and a bid due date of April 30, 2026. Bidders must register with the BONFIRE system to access complete project details and the bid table, where they will find vendor response fields and additional specifications for the required adapter. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is essential to this procurement, and seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include complete purchase order information, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment issued on Net 30 terms from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt.

The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information based on the available materials. All quoted pricing must include applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, with DART exempt from Texas sales and use taxes. Sellers are required to warrant that supplied items are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, compliant with specifications, and covered by the most favorable commercial warranties provided to any customer. All vendors must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and certify non-involvement with terrorist organizations and non-participation in Israel boycotts. The purchase order will be governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available procurement documentation.
