About this opportunity
The State of Georgia, through the Department of Natural Resources, is seeking qualified suppliers to provide floating docks, fixed piers, and associated marine infrastructure via an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) under State Purchasing Act guidelines. The procurement specifically covers manufacturing and/or supplying pre-fabricated marine equipment including floating docks, fixed piers, gangways, pile guides, cleats, fenders, utility routing/anchorage systems, and related marine hardware and accessories. Prospective bidders must register in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to view the complete RFQ and submit bids electronically, with the solicitation currently open from April 21, 2025, and proposals due by May 8, 2025. Award will be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting established specifications. Vendors are required to review the RFQ regularly during the solicitation period and are prohibited from communicating with state staff except through the designated Issuing Officer.
The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Bidders seeking additional information or assistance with the procurement process can contact the procurement help desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or by calling 404-657-6000. While specific award values are not detailed in the provided documentation, the contract appears designed to establish ongoing marine infrastructure supply capabilities for the Department of Natural Resources. No incumbent vendors are mentioned, and the RFQ suggests an open competitive procurement process. Potential suppliers will need to demonstrate technical capability to manufacture or supply marine infrastructure components that meet the state's specified requirements, with a focus on comprehensive marine hardware and accessory provision.
