About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of absorbent universal pads measuring 15" x 17" in gray color, packaged in quantities of 100 units. This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on March 16, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 23, 2026. Vendors must register with the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and the BidTable for submission. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is a critical requirement, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and potential default termination. Payment will be issued under Net 30 terms, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. Vendors must submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include complete documentation with the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. Sellers must certify compliance with state requirements, including verification that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization ties and confirmation that they do not boycott Israel. All suppliers must provide commercial warranties confirming that supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and compliant with all referenced specifications. The solicitation documents do not specify item quantities, site visits, or bidders' meetings; these details are available through the Bonfire registration system. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available procurement documentation. Potential vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section before submitting their bids.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
