About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for absorbent, universal pads measuring 15" x 17" in gray color, supplied in packages of 100 units (Item No. 2097561). This procurement, posted on January 21, 2026, with a deadline of January 28, 2026, requires vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access complete specifications and submit bids via the in-browser BidTable system. Delivery terms are critical to this procurement, with time and rate of delivery specified as essential elements; failure to meet delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Vendors should expect Net 30 payment terms calculated from the later of either invoice receipt or order receipt date. The procuring jurisdiction is Dallas County, Texas, and all supplies must meet commercial warranty requirements ensuring merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, with inspection and acceptance occurring at destination.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular categories of organizations, such as disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available contract materials. The purchase order is governed by Texas state law with venue in Dallas County, and vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment requirements and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycott compliance. While no specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the publicly available summary, vendors should submit invoices to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, including the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The Contracting Officer retains the right to terminate the order for default or for convenience when in DART's best interest.
