About this opportunity
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is issuing a Request for Proposals to procure speech coaching and presentation services from qualified contractors. The primary deliverables include content development and editing for the Executive Director's State of the Region Address scheduled for October 24, 2025, at the Georgia World Congress Center with approximately 1,500 attendees; executive coaching for the newly hired Chief Research and Innovation Officer (CRIO); and coaching services for two community leaders presenting TedTalk-style speeches in the "What's Next ATL" program. The selected contractor must review and revise speech drafts, provide executive coaching aligned with ARC's brand and voice, advise on script execution, coordinate with an internal design team on visual components, and may provide sustained engagement extending into 2026 based on ongoing needs. All work must be completed by December 1, 2026, with a rehearsal scheduled for October 23, 2025. Eligible respondents include for-profit and not-for-profit individuals and organizations demonstrating similar project experience, appropriate expertise, and excellent customer service records. Proposals must be submitted electronically to nkusnierz@atlantaregional.org by 5:00 PM EST on July 28, 2025, with clarifying questions due by July 17, 2025, and answers posted by July 21, 2025. ARC anticipates awarding the contract in late July 2025 and reserves the right to award to one or more contractors. Evaluation criteria include provider capabilities and demonstrated related experience (50% weight), technical approach and ability to meet deadlines (20%), cost proposal (20%), and firm references and customer service experience (10%). Proposals are limited to 20 pages and must include company information, staffing qualifications, at least two relevant project descriptions with references, project approach with schedule, and detailed cost breakdown.
Respondents must provide Certificates of Insurance, assurance of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 compliance, and completed Debarment and E-Verify forms. No specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular categories of disadvantaged enterprises are identified in the procurement documents. There are no listed incumbent vendors or existing contractor relationships referenced. The compensation for these services shall not exceed $16,800, with monthly payments made upon invoice submission documenting work performed and processed within 45 days of receipt, contingent upon ARC's determination that all contract requirements have been satisfied. ARC reserves the right to award all or part of the available funds, reject any or all proposals, award to multiple contractors, or make no award. Contractors are encouraged to propose flexible pricing structures, including hourly rates rather than fixed fees, to accommodate the anticipated range of engagement from minimal to moderate assistance needed by the organization.
