About this opportunity
The State of Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General Services, Division of Purchases, acting on behalf of the Office of Information Technology, is requesting quotations for 80 brand new GNB Sprinter S12V550NGF replacement batteries for a LIEBERT 610 UPS system, with quotations due July 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. local time. Vendors must be prime suppliers of Exide Technologies and provide certification or a letter confirming that status; no knockoff or aftermarket units are acceptable.
Delivery must occur within 15 business days from receipt of order to Augusta, Maine on FOB Destination terms. All pricing must include shipping and handling charges, exclude federal and Maine state sales and use taxes (the State is tax-exempt), and follow the format specified by the State. Quotations are submitted through the State of Maine's e-Procurement system (AdvantageME/Vendor Self Service) at https://mevss.hostams.com/webapp/PRDVSS2X1/AltSelfService.
For quotations exceeding $100,000, vendors must complete an Economic Impact Form. Evaluation is on a best value basis, with the lowest-priced conforming bid receiving preference. The State reserves the right to negotiate with the selected bidder, waive minor informalities, and decline to make an award. Payment terms are net 30 upon receipt of an accurate invoice referencing the State contract number. Award decisions may be appealed to the Director of the Bureau of General Services within 15 calendar days of notification. Questions must be submitted through the online Q&A List in the VSS platform; all questions and answers are posted for vendor review.
