About this opportunity

The State of Georgia is issuing an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to select up to eight (8) contractors to provide professional environmental response services for hazardous sites throughout Georgia. The procurement is being conducted pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.) and will result in multiple contracts executed through individual task orders. Services required include hazardous waste site response and remediation, with task order assignments determined based on the contractor's expertise, specific qualifications, and prior experience relevant to the scope of work, or alternatively assigned on a general-rotation or best-value basis for tasks requiring no specialized expertise. Prospective bidders must register in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to access the complete RFQ and submit bids electronically through that platform. The solicitation period opened March 13, 2026, with a proposal due date of April 16, 2026. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to Elizabeth Alexander at elizabeth.alexander@dnr.ga.gov, and bidders are responsible for reviewing the RFQ regularly for any posted answers to questions and addenda during the solicitation period.

The RFQ does not explicitly identify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted designations within the available documentation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the solicitation materials provided. The contract structure allows for flexibility in evaluation, with awards based on qualifications and experience for specialized work or best-value considerations for general tasks, though specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed in the information provided. Bidders seeking additional information regarding registration, system navigation, or submission procedures should contact the Help Desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or call 404-657-6000.
