About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is conducting an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to procure six (6) Can-Am Defender 6X6 DPS all-terrain utility vehicles or approved equivalent models through the State Purchasing Act. This one-time procurement is being executed through the TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE, with a strict requirement that all bidders must be registered on the platform to view complete RFQ details and submit proposals. The solicitation seeks a single qualified supplier to provide the specified vehicles, with award criteria focused on selecting the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting all technical specifications. Interested vendors must submit their electronic bids by January 14, 2025, through the designated procurement system. Bidders are advised to regularly review the RFQ during the solicitation period for potential updates, addenda, or answers to submitted questions, with technical support available through the procurement help desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or by calling 404-657-6000.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types, allowing open competition among qualified vendors. The Notice of Intent to Award document reveals that RumbleOn Dealers Inc was selected as the apparent successful offeror with a fixed contract amount of $161,659.02, indicating the probable total contract value. Four other vendors were considered during the evaluation, including LOGISTICS365, INC. (deemed non-responsive), and SIAK ENTERPRISE LLC, Chaves Brothers Management LLC, and Harris Family Investment Partners, LLC (all categorized as "Not Low Bid"). Vendors are explicitly prohibited from communicating with state staff from the issue date until vendor selection, except through the designated Issuing Officer. Any protests regarding the procurement must be submitted electronically to doas.protests@doas.ga.gov, providing a formal mechanism for vendor challenges to the selection process.
