About this opportunity
The State of Georgia, specifically the Department of Natural Resources, is seeking to procure a Monosem 4 Row NG + 4 Vacuum Planter or an approved equivalent through an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) under the State Purchasing Act. This one-time purchase opportunity (Contract ID: 68346a125b216d49a00f37aa) is designed to select a single qualified supplier for the specified agricultural equipment. Mandatory specifications for the planter are detailed in Attachment D, which can be accessed through the TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE platform. Prospective bidders must be registered in the system to view the complete RFQ, submit bids, and participate in the procurement process. The solicitation was posted on May 22, 2025, with bid submissions due by June 6, 2025, and the award will be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting all specified requirements. Interested vendors must carefully review the eRFQ instructions and ensure compliance with all submission guidelines.
The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types beyond the requirement of being registered in the TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE. Vendors with questions about the registration process or system navigation can contact the Help Desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or call 404-657-6000. Communication restrictions are in place, prohibiting vendors from contacting state staff directly from the issue date until vendor selection is publicly announced, with all communications to be conducted through the designated Issuing Officer. While the exact budget range is not specified in the provided documentation, the procurement is for a single agricultural planter. Potential bidders should note that unauthorized communication could result in bid rejection, and they are advised to regularly review the RFQ for potential updates, addenda, or submitted questions during the solicitation period.
