About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is seeking to procure one (1) used tritoon boat through an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) issued under the State Purchasing Act. This one-time procurement opportunity requires all prospective bidders to be registered in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to view the complete RFQ, access attachments, and submit bids electronically. The contract will be awarded to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting the specified requirements. The solicitation was posted on November 20, 2025, with a bid submission deadline of December 8, 2025. Interested vendors must carefully review all RFQ instructions and attachments, which can be accessed by selecting the VIEW/ADD COMMENTS AND ATTACHMENTS link and following specific control key navigation procedures. Questions regarding the procurement process can be directed to the Help Desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or by calling 404-657-6000.
During the solicitation period, vendors are prohibited from communicating with state staff except through the designated Issuing Officer, with potential consequences including bid rejection or suspension/debarment for violations. No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types are explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. The procurement appears to be an open competitive process with standard state purchasing guidelines. While a precise budget range is not specified, the procurement is for a single used tritoon boat, suggesting a moderate-value acquisition. The evaluation will focus on responsiveness to specifications and overall bid value, with the primary selection criterion being the lowest responsible bidder meeting all mandatory requirements outlined in the RFQ attachments.
