6 Wheel Dump Trucks, Snow Ready

The District of Columbia is seeking procurement for 6 Wheel Dump Trucks specifically configured for snow readiness operations. The procurement targets heavy municipal equipment with a specific requirement for a 10-foot body mounted on a 6-wheel chassis, indicating these vehicles are intended for winter road maintenance and infrastructure management. While the precise technical specifications are not fully detailed in the available information, the contract appears focused on acquiring robust municipal transportation equipment designed for harsh winter conditions. The posting was originally made on July 12, 2011, with an unusual due date of December 30, 1899, which suggests potential data entry errors in the original contract documentation. The contract opportunity is specifically tied to the District of Columbia's procurement processes and appears to be a direct municipal equipment acquisition.

Given the limited information provided, no specific set-aside designations or vendor restrictions are immediately apparent. The contract does not specify incumbent vendors or outline precise budget constraints for the dump truck procurement. The unique identifier 66c85ff2829eb5d86907649a suggests this is part of a broader municipal fleet replacement or enhancement initiative. Without additional context, it is challenging to definitively state the potential award value or precise budgetary range for these specialized snow-ready 6-wheel dump trucks. Potential vendors would likely need to demonstrate capabilities in municipal vehicle manufacturing, specifically heavy-duty trucks configured for winter road maintenance operations, with potential requirements for meeting specific District of Columbia fleet specifications and performance standards.
