6 Wheel Dump Truck, Snow Ready

The District of Columbia is seeking to procure a 6 Wheel Dump Truck configured for snow readiness through this local government contract opportunity. The procurement appears to be for a specialized municipal vehicle intended for winter road maintenance and snow removal operations. While specific technical requirements are not fully detailed in the provided documentation, the truck is expected to meet municipal fleet standards for heavy-duty municipal service. The contract was originally posted on July 2, 2010, with an unusual due date of December 30, 1899, which suggests potential data entry errors in the original posting. No explicit evaluation criteria, submission guidelines, or response deadlines are clearly articulated in the available information. The procurement seems to target local government fleet management and infrastructure maintenance departments responsible for winter road operations.

Given the limited information provided, no definitive statements can be made about set-aside designations, vendor restrictions, or disadvantaged enterprise participation requirements. The contract opportunity does not specify budget ranges, potential award values, or incumbent vendors. Without additional context, it is impossible to determine whether this is a competitive bid, a sole-source procurement, or a standard municipal vehicle acquisition process. The contract opportunity ID and state ID suggest this is an official government procurement, but the sparse details prevent a comprehensive assessment of the full procurement landscape. Potential vendors interested in this opportunity would need to contact the District of Columbia's procurement office directly to obtain complete bid specifications, submission requirements, and additional technical details about the required 6 Wheel Dump Truck.
